This private-beta endpoint provides read and quote tools only. Carrier booking is not available through the endpoint.

Authentication

Every POST requires a separately issued MCP API key as a bearer token. Request private-beta access from support@ozparcel.com.au. Keep this key out of browser code and do not reuse a REST or WooCommerce token.

Available tools

get_australian_rates

Requests the currently available Australian courier rates through Transdirect and applies the configured OzParcel service margin (10% + $1.50 AUD).

origin_suburb Origin Australian suburb name (e.g. "Sydney", "Richmond", "Fortitude Valley")

origin_postcode Origin 4-digit Australian postcode (e.g. "2000", "3121", "4006")

origin_state Origin Australian state or territory abbreviation (e.g. "NSW")

destination_suburb Destination Australian suburb name (e.g. "Melbourne", "Brisbane City", "Perth")

destination_postcode Destination 4-digit Australian postcode (e.g. "3000", "4000", "6000")

destination_state Destination Australian state or territory abbreviation (e.g. "VIC")

weight_kg Dead weight of parcel in kilograms (e.g. 2.5)

length_cm Exact parcel length in centimetres

width_cm Exact parcel width in centimetres

height_cm Exact parcel height in centimetres

item_description Accurate contents description used for basic dangerous-goods screening

is_residential_pickup Whether pickup address is a residential home (optional, default false)

is_residential_delivery Whether delivery address is a residential home (optional, default true)

track_parcel

Reads normalized carrier tracking for an existing OzParcel shipment using its booking reference or consignment number.

consignment_number The tracking number or booking reference (e.g. "OZP-8821" or "OZ-COU-49182390")

get_suburb_suggestions

Fast autocomplete search for Australian suburbs, postcodes, states, and metro/regional classifications.

query Search keyword (suburb name or postcode digits, e.g. "Sydney" or "3000")

limit Maximum number of results to return (default 5)

validate_australian_address

Checks whether an Australian suburb and postcode combination exists in the local supported-location dataset.
